We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

1. Drivers - This is a physically demanding job which includes loading and unloading vegetable oil across London. You need a UK or international driving licence with no more than 6 endorsements points. You will be a hard working individual, careful driver, organised and courteous to our customers. We provide uniform, vehicle, stock and route management.

Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to help Uptown Oil campaign for Cleaner City Air. There are many things we want to achieve to bring the spotlight on CO2 and climate change. This can range from writing letters to MPs to handing out flyers to taxis and many other support activities. If you are looking for a way to get involved with carbon reduction or renewable fuels, we can provide a forum where you can make a difference. Most of our volunteers work from home and join regular update meetings.

We currently need volunteers in the following areas:  
  • Attending environmental meetings and gathering support information
  • Flyering (taxis, pubs and restaurants)
  • Campaigning and Lobbying government, councils, organisations, commerce and industry etc
  • Desk research into biodiesel and UCO feedstock
  • Assessing Government grant opportunities
  • Presenting the case for recycled biodiesel to other interest groups
